For founders and companies

Real AI products and real data work. Senior, accountable, and proven.

If you need an AI feature built, a legacy system migrated, or an integration that actually holds up, we do the whole thing: scope, architecture, build, validation, and delivery. Sam has shipped live AI products as Burl, and moved regulated financial data under a legal deadline in a prior enterprise role. Not demos. Delivered work.

Shipped, not slides

Real screens from live products we build and run ourselves. The bigger builds without a public screen, a regulated data migration, a multi-voice audiobook engine, a real-time broadcast overlay, are shown as architecture further down, with the full stories in the work.

What we take on

AI features and pipelines

LLM-powered products built like engineering, not prompts in a box. We pick the right model for each job (expensive where it earns it, cheap where the volume is), keep cost low on purpose, handle privacy and de-identification, add observability so failures are a line we can read, and keep a human in control of the output.

Data migration and reverse-engineering

We move data off old systems no one fully understands anymore. We read the actual data before we trust the schema, find where the truth really lives, and prove every record landed correctly. If it is regulated money, we build so the first reconciliation passes.

Integrations and automation

APIs, webhooks, EDI, crawlers, and the glue between systems. Ten years of doing exactly this in enterprise ERP programs sits behind it.

Under the hood

Architecture, not prompts in a box.

Every build starts from the one constraint that should drive the design. Here is how a few of them are put together.

Lessons generation pipeline architecture
Lessons · one reasoning call plans, cheap models write in parallel, art is generated once and cached.
Trust-money property migration architecture
Trust migration · read the data before the schema, prove every record, reconcile to the cent.
Multi-voice audiobook engine architecture
Audiobook engine · multi-voice synthesis on a swappable AI stack.
Real-time broadcast overlay architecture
Broadcast overlay · operator and display on different devices, kept in sync in real time.
How we work

Scope before build

We find the one constraint that should drive the whole design before a line of code is written. On a trust migration it was a statutory reconciliation deadline. On a livestream overlay it was that the operator and the display are on different devices over the internet. Get that right and everything downstream gets easier.

Build the measurement in

"It ran" is not "it is correct." We write the tests, the validation, and a living record of every decision, so "done" is provable record by record, not a feeling.

Tell you the truth at the gate

Including when the truth is "not yet." A product that ships too early into a regulated or on-air environment is not a win, and we will say so with the evidence to back it.

Selected builds

A 6,500-property migration under a trust-accounting deadline, a live AI lesson generator, a privacy-first marking tool, a multi-voice audiobook engine with a swappable AI stack, and a real-time broadcast overlay for a 50k-subscriber livestream. The full stories are in the work.

Talk about a build.

Send a couple of lines about what you are trying to do. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit, roughly what it takes, and what we would do first.
